This was a really great trip out to the Dry Tortugas. The crew warned us about rough waters and sea sickness prior to boarding (and sold Dramamine at a premium, but it was worth it). The ride was definitely choppy on the way out, but we'd taken our Dramamine and were prepared. Our hotel had free breakfast, so we ate... More

I've planned many things for my family over the years and this was the worst thing I've ever planned. The beaches at Dry Tortuga are very small and everyone has to crowd together on the same TINY beach. There are several other beaches but they are all off limits. The beaches open to public weren't good for snorkeling. The only... More

This was a great way to start off our Key West visit. Crew was enthusiastic and helpful. We did the 20 minute fort tour so that we could spend the rest of our time exploring on our own and snorkeling. Breakfast and lunch were good and filling. Great for history-buffs as well as those who appreciate the water! Day well... More

We spent the day with the crew of the Yankee Freedom, and were not disappointed with any aspect of the trip, except that it was too short (National Park only permits us to stay 4 hours). The travel food was excellent and efficiently presented. The crew came around to check on us, making sure everyone was comfortable. Our tour guide... More

This is the only ferry out to the Dry Tortugas National Park. It isn't cheap! However the crew was very friendly, the ship was clean and they provide everything you will need for the day. The breakfast and the lunch were buffet style with a good variety.

What a great experience, hard to believe this was built on a island 70 miles from Key West. It was on our bucket list and I would highly recommend the trip. The down side is the 2-1/2 hour boat trip each way and the price of $170 p/p. I did see that some folks too the seaplane vs the boat.... More

We took this ferry trip after it was recommended by a friend. The journey is a bit long, but worth it. It's nice that the fare included breakfast, lunch snorkeling, park admission, and a tour. Yankee Freedom staff gave the tours, which were well done. There were also several videos shown on the boat. The food was nothing fancy but... More

For all you history buffs out there, and for all your non history buffs the trip to dry tortuga is a MUST. The ride out is about 2.5 hours - but WOW when you see this historical wonder you will be amazed. Bring your suit to swim in the waters around the fort, what a spectacular site. The staff on... This trip leaves from Key West and goes to the Dry Tortugas, Ft Jefferson National Park. The trip takes 2.5 hrs. On the way out, they serve you an adequate breakfast. The crew is very efficient at checking you in and getting everyone settled into the boat. There is a good orientation to the park and island. Two free tours... More

We just returned from our day on the yankee freedom to the Dry Tortugas national park. It was an amazing day with gorgeous weather. The crew serves breakfast and lunch for the guests which includes bagels, deli meats, chicken salad, cereal. Also you can use the snorkel equipment if you would choose to snorkel The only down part was bottled... More
