This small museum is a lovely interlude on a walk around the Key West Harbor. The very enthusiastic volunteer is happy to answer all your questions and give you an insight into a little known industry. Recommended for both children and adults.

My daughter and I stopped by the Museum on Friday, April 1, 2016. There is no charge - just a donation bottle. There are no turtles in the museum - that would be in violation of State and Federal laws. Though not alot to see,...More

Just a tiny shack near the Turtle Crawls. Worth going in to find a little history about the area. Kids trinkets mostly and donations help wildlife in area.

Turtle museum is located in a restored cannery. Quick visit but very informative. Adopt a turtle for $10. Non-profit group helped 700 hatchlings make it to the ocean last spring.

It was okay, but hot and muggy. Thought it would be more informative. Will pass on this one next time.

We stumbled across this free, self - guided museum. It clearly wants to convey a good message of being aware of our environment and some of the fragile species around us. It takes 15-20 min and worth it.

Small, free museum on the history of KW, turtles, and cannery. Very interesting info, most which I never knew. Right in front of Turtle Krawls. Took about 15-20 min to do the self guided tour.
