Sorry to say, but Duvall a Street has lost much of its former charm. While it still has many fine restaurants, the nice shopping stores are fast being overtaken by way too many shops that sell "cheap" T-shirts and very low quality clothes. Now major...More

My wife and I have always wanted to visit Duval Street, just to take in the experience that we have heard so much about. There is a wide offering of attractions from water sports, enjoying a dinner cruise on a restored schooner, island art, history,...More

We arrived on Friday and that evening walked up Duval. It was very busy, but fun to "people" watch and shop on this street. There are a lot of bars and a lot of loud music, but there are other interesting things to do like...More

Duval Street is the heart of downtown Key West offering everything from bars, to gift shops, to restaurants all quite bustling with tourists and locals. Many cruise ships dock at the pier (Mallory Square) just a block away and release thousands of tourists who fill...More

Truly surprised, expected more of a Hemingway milieu... but more like the spice of Cancun... the only thing missing from Duval was "Hooters"... Overall a disappointing experience...quite touristy

Take a stroll on Duval Street and you find everything! Souvenir shops, bars, restaurants, galleries, low price to high price. It is certainly a place to people watch.

We are staying in a condo on Smathers Beach in May for a week. We will be renting a car. Looking for recommendations for good a good day trip. Would visiting other keys be too far for a one day trip? Thank you!

It is a perfect day trip up the keys! Be aware traffic can get heavy, but that is something we do every time, all the way to Islamorada!
We are going to the keys. Do we stay on Key West and hop the keys, or is there an option to stay on one of the Keys?
