It pretty much has everything you need/want: bars, tasty restaurants of varying fanciness, tons of gift shops and snack shops too. The whole street doesn't take that long to walk from end to end so highly recommend doing that. Stop here for meals, quirky snacks,...More

Duval Street was fun to see but it is like any other downtown area really. Lots of fun looking bars, shops, and actually some pretty neat art gallerries. Cool to check out but nothing too crazy.

Daytime is okay for family. But night is definitely a different story. Lots of drinking and partying. Went with my family and was just to much for the younger ones. But I would have loved to stay!!!

So much fun walking down the street and checking out shops and stopping for an outside drink/food. Love the atmosphere and live music. You can get so comfortable just chilling and listening to fun music for a long time. Time seems to stop until you...More

This is a great place to find souvenirs and find food and drinks. The Conch train is a great idea to get around and find places you may be interested in.

We are staying in a condo on Smathers Beach in May for a week. We will be renting a car. Looking for recommendations for good a good day trip. Would visiting other keys be too far for a one day trip? Thank you!

It is a perfect day trip up the keys! Be aware traffic can get heavy, but that is something we do every time, all the way to Islamorada!
We are going to the keys. Do we stay on Key West and hop the keys, or is there an option to stay on one of the Keys?

I would suggest staying in a middle key like islamorada or marathon. The hotel rates are more affordable. I usually stay on islamorada but I stay in very basic motels. I spend most of my time outside anyway! I would suggest... More
