Pretty cool place but I've seen so many of these old brick forts that they all look and feel the same. Something to see if you're over there but wouldn't go back.

Went there for the beach. Rocky bottom, not sandy so wear shoes. The beach is very nice. After swimming we checked out the fort. It was really cool, lots of history. We had a fun few hours. Highly recommended.

Pristine park in which to picnic, sunbathe or swim. Fun place to watch the Superboat International powerboat races from shore while taking a cold dip in between races. Nothing not to like; this spot is a National treasure!

Sorry, can't help you, but I too enjoyed those lovely trees at Fort Zachery. I'm hoping that lots of places in the Keys come through with out great harm.

Yes, plenty of parking, but be aware there is an entrance fee, although fee is good for all day.
