A small fee ($2.50) upon entry. Plenty of parking and Uber goes there. A nice beach where you can rent an umbrella and lounge chairs. Also a food cafe and bathrooms. Out of the way so not overly crowded. Only drawback is the beach AND...More

Such beautiful water views. Breathtaking scenery and a huge cruise ship docked nearby. There was even a wedding taking place on the beach while we were there. We got there late in the evening so the Fort was closed but we’ll tour it next time....More

The beach is actually very nice, and while I can "lay out" reading for a bit, it was nice to walk over to the fort and take in the history.

Rode our bikes over to take a swim, Other reviews state the beach is very rocky and you need water shoes. Yes, they would be helpful but we asked the ranger at the booth for advice and she pointed out a sandier part of the...More

There are other things that are more interesting on Key West but this was nice to visit and leisurely walk around, if you can find a guide/volunteer ask them about the history, it is pretty great and dates back to before the civil war!

We check out this place the day that the power boat racers were getting ready! It was an interesting piece of history that I would have never known about.

Apologies, I read your question wrong at first. We walked to the park, but still went through the drive in entrance. You pay less when you walk or ride a bike versus a car. I think everyone does have to enter through the... More

It's very nice...just very rocky, so you need water shoes. Not very much sand anywhere, so sitting on the ground is pebbly too.
