I was in awe. A few years ago they were placing memorial bricks in the square so we decided to have two placed for my parents. This was the first trip to Key West since my mom passed away. As I arrived and placed my...More

Definitely touristy, there is no question about that. I had heard that Mallory Square was the place to be around sunset every day, but it really defies belief until you've seen it. You want to get there a couple hours before, so you can wander...More

You need to arrive early and ensure a good place. After that, just enjoy the beautiful Sunset. Some guys stays around the place doing jugglery and waiting tips of course. The best Sunset of the world.

If you go to Key West and ignore Mallory Square you just cheated yourself out of something really special. Mallory Square during the day seems like "just a dock", but towards the beginning of the evening it comes alive. Street performers of every kind (balance...More

A great place for watching the sun set. While waiting, there are shops in the square to visit, performers to watch, food (such as conch fritters) to eat. Fun for the entire family. Get there early if you want a good view of the sunset.

It's a gathering point to watch the sunset. There are street performers, my favorite is a Key West local who trained cats to jump through burning hoops and walk on a tight rope and arts and craft vendors.
