Although it is very busy at Mallory Square, it is worth the visit! We saw the beautiful sunset here and saw many street performers. Our favourite parts was the cute pig and the guy who sells coconuts the traditional way by chopping them with a...More

Watching the sunset in Mallory Square is a must when visiting Key West for the first time. There are really cool street performers and food trollies selling pretzels, hot dogs, etc. While my kids enjoyed the street performers, it's not really a place for children....More

There are shops here, There is a memorial/information monument that has the history of the square and the fort. And there is the sunset. The sunset is beautiful from this spot. And there are street performers all over the square prior to the sunset. But...More

Fun place for everyone to visit. There were street players of all types - magicians, fire jugglers, singers and many more. There were shops, inexpensive food court type places as well as a nice Bistro. Beautiful views of the sunset with boats in the water...More

Mallory Square appears to be THE place to watch the sun set in Key West. Hundreds (many hundreds) file in starting an hour before sunset to mill about. There are street performers juggling and tossing hats onto heads from 50+ feet away. You'll find at...More

If you can get through the crowds wanting to photograph the sunset, it's really good. We came during spring break, so crowds of young people. Entertainers great. It all clears surprisingly quickly, though, so the square empties about an hour after sundown.

Not much to do other than souvenir shopping, until sunset celebration. Ok to grab a frosty beverage and walk around. Would skip it until sunset.

We read that this was the best place to view the sunset and it sure was. This area had like a carnival atmosphere with entertaining acts, vendors, and hundreds lining the dock to all view the sunset. The harbor was filled with sunset cruise boats...More

It's a gathering point to watch the sunset. There are street performers, my favorite is a Key West local who trained cats to jump through burning hoops and walk on a tight rope and arts and craft vendors.
