My fourteen-year-old daughter and I booked a full day trip hoping to experience the Everglades up close and personal. We knew that we could walk the trails on our own, but with this trip, we were able to get into the mud with the animals and were able to kayak without fear of getting lost. We spent the day with... We had the most adventurous afternoon with Garl. He took us deep into the swamp regions with alligator, mosquitos, and mud. It was loads of fun and extremely educational. Garl is very personable, knowledgeable, and passionate about what he does with his trips. He spends alot of time training his other guides to do the same. We saw dozens of... More

Let me start off by saying it exceeded every expectation we had. Now to be fair if your more interested in a pedestrian stroll this is not for you. This is an incredible walk through the mud and the muck. You will see birds, spiders, flora, snakes and plenty of just cool things that share our world with us. This... More

Forget noisy airboats! Garl was an excellent and really knowledgeable guide who took us for an exciting full day kayaking and walking tour in the Everglades. We came real close up to numerous alligators, and learned that it was nothing to be afraid of. No pythons spotted, but one beast of an American Crocodile! This is a real adventure and... More

Our full-day tour with Erin was a trip highlight! We got muddy, and got up close and personal with the flora and fauna of the Everglades (including snakes and gators) on foot and in kayaks. It doesn't seem like this is everyone's bag, but it's exactly the experience we were looking for. We appreciated all of the knowledge that Erin... More

We went on a full day trip with Garl himself. We started on a off-trail hike/slough slogging in the Everglades. Initially we were dubious as we were slogging through knee deep mud and weren't quite sure what the destination was. But Garl kept things interesting as he pointed out interesting plant life and wildlife including snakes, air-plants, birds, and orchid... More

This is a very strenuous for the elderly. Definitely no disabled ramps. We are in our late sixties and made it through but it was a struggle, a major struggle. That said, we experienced the Florida Everglades like no other tour could have provided. Started up with a short walk, maybe 1/2 - 3/4 mile round trip max. The issue... More

Fantastic tour! Garl is an expert when it comes to the area. We went on three separate excursions, two involving kayaking - each was amazing. We got to see a plethora of wildlife. The whole thing was a combo of exciting and relaxing. I would recommend to anyone. Also, I advise wearing the gear they provide as the mosquitos can... More

My fiance and I lucked out with a personal all-day tour with Garl as no one else had booked the same day. We were incredibly impressed by the value of this tour. It felt like four tours rolled into one - slogging through the cyprus swamps (wear old tennis shoes, not water shoes or Chacos!), freshwater kayaking, ocean kayaking, and... More

Garl took my 9 year old son and myself into the depth of the Everglades for about 6 hours. He did exactly what I needed, which is off the beaten path adventure where we saw very few people and a ton of wild life. We hiked, kayaked, looked for all sorts of animals, and learned about the plants. He knows... More
