This was a good trip as the weather had eased some and visibility was better than the previous day. I buddied up with someone and thanks to great instructions we found the Christ Statue easily. Ocean Divers are a slick operation and to be recommended.

Went snorkeling through the John Pennekamp state park here and got to see this wonder of the sea. So neat to snorkel around and saw several scuba divers getting photos underwater as well.

You have to visit this at least once in your life. It is crowded, but worth the wait to get your view.

Take the 4 1/2 hour snorkel tour from John Pennekamp State Park. It was the most economical tour that included this very moving sight.

What an adventure to take a scuba diving trip to see the Christ. It is absolutely stunning! I recommend getting certified at Sail Fish Scuba and going diving here! Beautiful!!!

We scubaed with Amoray. There were snorkelers onboard sometimes, but my impression is that the boat was dedicated more to scuba in terms of the depths and sites we visited. If you just want to visit the Christ of the Deep... More

No, the statue is about a 30 minute boat ride out. There are cannons just off the beach at John Pennekamp State Park. The boat trip only cost about $30.00 per person from the park. They limit their numbers so it is not over... More
