Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Horrible. So much traffic. Don’t recommend. Hours of traffic leaving and entering. Not enough space for cars especially in bill bag park. Leaving Crandon park and bill bags is a nightmare. Key biscayne traffic is a mess.

There was, sadly, a tragic fatal accident Saturday night, and they closed the entire Causeway from 10 until 4 am. We were at a wedding at the Rusty Pelican, and decided to walk back to South Miami Avenue, where we were able to Uber home. 3 miles in uncomfortable, formal shoes was too much (though this 58 year old was proud to keep up with the Millennials), and the reward was the postcard-like view of neon Miami's skyline from the top of the bridge. It is a sigh worth seeing...

Great views of Miami. Good place to take some photos and just people watch. I walked across the bridge and back. Nice views, clean, safe area.

It is worth paying the $2.50 fee to go onto Key Biscayne just to see the view from the top of the bridge. You can walk, cycle, or drive over and the view of downtown Miami and the port of Miami with the cruise ships is spectacular; as you come over the bridge you will see the Rusty pelican restaurant on the left which used to be one of our favorite places until it was stripped of all it’s unique Florida history and made into just another restaurant! However I hear the food is good. Beautiful view and well worth doing!

I did my 20mile run on saturday going over the rickenbacker. beautiful bridge! looking back at sunrise on the skyscrapers was cool. lots of other runners, hikers, joggers, bouncers, cyclist, etc. It is Miami, after all, with people of all races and ethnicity and craziness!
If you do go in the morning for a run, the second bridge is very close to the water. I saw 14 large manta rays right under the bridge with 10foot long tales and bright spots. My running buddy says they are almost always there, so look carefully and you might catch them too!!!

Beautiful bridge and drive as you enter Key Biscayne. When I arrive and drive over the highest part of the bridge the views are incredible.

I've always wanted to run this bridge since moving here so when I found myself in Miami on that side of town, I decided to make a go for it. I drove over the bridge (I believe the toll is $2.25. I have sunpass so I didn't really pay attention) and parked in one of the parking lots to the right. I believe they call this area Hobie Beach. I then went on my run over the bridge and back. It ended up being about 3 miles. It was a great run though if you're not accustomed to running in the heat, I suggest you go early in the morning or after the sun goes down and the bridge is on an incline so it's uphill then downhill. There is a fantastic view of the water and all the runners look so in shape that it gives you incentive.
