On a money saving night (on our holiday) we took a picnic (courtesy of Winn Dixie) down to the beach. Lots of bins provided, popular with the locals. Toilets. Well maintained. Worth noting that it opens from sunrise to sunset, when the police come along...More

Seaweed all along the shore and the water was disgusting, the sand bottom could not be seen. Visibility standing in the water was ZERO. Then to make matters worse a public school bus full of screaming loud children, looked like a ghetto beach. More trash...More

apart from the huge parking lot, the beach is very nice with white sand and trees. Very easy to find some shadow if you have children.

Especially in winter. We went there on a week day in February. There was noone but us! I believe it must be crowded in high season. Of course, in these conditions, we loved the place!

Big beach with white sand and lots of parking and cabanas for barbecue. Very quiet during the week and busier during week ends. We love it.

This beach has become a ocean front swamp. The once beautiful clear water is now brown, hot, and full of algae. The revitalizing scent of ocean breeze replaced by the smells of rotting seaweed. Growing up in Miami, this was one of the favorite beaches...More
