Cape Florida is one of the loveliest beaches in South Florida. Lighthouses are always picturesque, and this one is no exception. If you bring a mask and snorkel, or even just goggles, you can see tropical fish swim around the rocks at the structure's base. Then, climb the staircase and enjoy the spectacular view of the bay. This will be... More

My family and I always visit the "Light House beach" as we call it. Little beach away from the masses, near the locals on Key Biscayne. Great views of Stiltsville. We rented a two seat bike here this summer and toured the grounds, saw the mangrove trees, and took an Uber back to South beach for $20. Great day trip... More

Bill Baggs State park is a great option for people who like a more relaxed and secluded beach experience in Miami. The Food options are limited and facilities are adequate. The nature trail and bike trail are enjoyable.

Cape Florida State Park, at the tip of the island of Key Biscayne, is a wonderful place to explore. It has great beaches, plenty of water activities, a lovely seaside cafe and a historical lighthouse and light keepers cottage that you can visit. Climb to the top of the lighthouse to get a 360 degree view of the park and... More

Bill Baggs a State Park at the tip of Key Biscayne, home to the lighthouse, icon of the key and a beacon to navigators. There's a restaurant and several BBQ spots. If you bring food and eat in the park, be aware of the racoons and squirrels. Nice beach and lighthouse near by.

lovely place, white sand beach, nice walks, quiet and away from the Miami noise. There are these pre-installed BBQ places, but, if European, be aware, DO NOT BRING BEER, this is a crime! ridiculous, but you know, if in Rome....

Nice relaxing day of biking around and laying in the sun. No big waves or crowds. Just nice sandy beaches and sun. Rest rooms, showers, bike rentals, and a snack bar. Just go and enjoy.

Rent a bike in Key Biscayne, and bike down to Bill Baggs: a better alternative to driving there. Plenty of spots for fishing, a nice beach (but not exceptional), interesting tour to the Lighthouse and keeper's cottage (check for opening times).

Our party of 12 loved this place for the view, the excellent service (once we had settled) and the food. This is not haute cuisine: just excellent steaks, seafood and wines. The location inside the Waterfront is picturesque and the restaurant is not as touristy as others in the area. Prices are also very reasonable.
