This humble, little building really opens up on the inside to a lot that you wouldn't even expect from an outside glance. Every production at AMP is nothing short from outstanding, and that goes for the people there as well. Buy your tickets, because they...More

We planned a date night with another couple to Fernandina for dinner and a show. Dinner was great, show was not on the level of theater we usually attend in Jacksonville. We were especially disappointed in the singing, with the exception of one or two...More

I must admit, I was a little concerned to see the size of the Theater, and the fact that we were going to see 'South Pacific' made me more so... But, once the play began and the performers started singing, I was amazed! Well done...More

From the outside, the Amelia Musical Playhouse would not garner much attention, in fact, it's a little on the odd side. Round (sort of) and very small for a live musical play venue. However, if you fail to go, you will have miss a fantastic...More

Have been to AMP multiple times and find their productions have that wonderful "something" you can only get in community theatre where there are a core group of regular performers, musicians and organizers. Be sure to be there early for great seating. Small, intimate space...More

Guys and Dolls was exceptional. I had more fun there, than I ever had at TPAC in Nashville. Seriously. I was blown away.

I thought Amelia Musical Playhouse was bold to stage To Kill A Mockingbird. After all, most everyone has seen the wonderful movie version. Well, Gregory Peck, move over! The AMP production was fantastic, as were the performances. It was so emotionally moving. I think most...More

I've seen a few productions here, the latest was ""Nunsense." I always have a great time at this local gem of a theater. Performances that are moving, or hilarious, or thought-provoking. Can't wait to see what they'll do next!

Amelia Musical Playhouse exceeded our expectations in every way. It doesn't look like much form the outside and the inside isn't spectacular either. But what performances. We saw Fiddler on the Roof and it was great. They have a small orchestra and the players are...More

I am always amazed and delighted at the the talent on stage in our little community. Though this is a small theatre, I have seen productions like The Sound of Music and Les Mis tackled with ingenious sets and staging. There is a constant flow...More
