Went here yesterday for Memorial Day. Main beach has pavilions, a park, concession stands and both public and private showers. Having small children I like to have options at the beach. This was a perfect spot for us. We usually do Anastasia State Park in...More

This is the ugliest beach I have ever been to because of the 3 foot pipeline running the whole length of the beach (maybe even the whole island). The pipe is an engineering effort to refurbish the beach and stabilize the area, but it is...More

Family friendly, clean. Walking distance and convenient access to restaurants, shops, hotels and beach houses.

The beach is nice but there isn't really a changing station or restroom. The parking spots are also few and far-between. Still worth visiting!

Good parking; bathroom facilities, picnic areas and boardwalk. Can get crowded in the summers. They keep it clean here - remember to keep your dog on a leash and bring bags to clean up after your pet

Not that crowded during the week. Wide sandy beach. Great Sand Bar restaurant close by. Sometimes events are going on at the grass area. Skateboard park, mini golf too.

Love the beach in Amelia Island. The water was a beautiful color, and warm. The beach was clean, with many trash cans along it.

What a beautiful beach. We loved it!!! We drove from Ft Stewart to Amelia Island for the day. Could have made a better choice. Easy access to the beach. If you have 4 wheel drive, you can drive right onto the beach. The weather was...More

What a great place! It's like going to a beach back in the 60's. The beach is laid back with a little park along side. There is an old mini-golf place there and a skate board park. Sandy Bottoms is being renovated right now, but...More
