Pleasnat confined beach for family with small children

The park is lovely with play areas and confined, safe swimming area for children, yet a short walks gets you to the beach. Lovely shaded picnic areas, clean.

A well planned park with a beautiful protected salt water cove where young children can play on the beach or in the water...there's also picnic tables where you can have a laid back lunch or dinner under the palms and watch the fishing boats go out and return from the Atlantic with their daily catches..( or try your hand at... We stopped by and explored on a non beach day. The winds were howling and the surf was rough. The kite surfers and board surfers we making the most of the wind and waves. It was still a lovely place to visit. The swimming cove looks to be a fantastic place for a more tranquil beach experience. There is a... More

This is a lovely way to spend the day at the beach. Parking is easy and free. There are lifeguards on duty if you care to swim in safety. The park area near the beach is on the small side but has plenty of picnic tables. There is also restroom and garbage facilities. Very clean. If you enjoy walking the... More

Very nice beach but there was dredging being done on the day of our visit. Nice picnic area with grills and bathrooms. No fee to park or to get onto the beach. Separate swimming hole for kids with lifeguard.

This area is a fun spot for families. You can grill and have a picnic, or you can bring the kids to enjoy the shallow areas of the water. If you want to just sit on a park bench and watch the boats go by, no one will bother you. There are facilities available. Great place to just hang out... More

I love this part, I love the waterway, it's the quintessential to order. However, you may want to keep a lookout for the water report, because from time to time there's no swimming due to high levels of bacteria. However, this is my absolute favorite and let area and all of Palm Beach County, and possibly all of Florida. Beautiful... More

The surf was a bit rough (yellow flag), the day we were there and we did have to climb up over the dredging line that was run across the beach, but it's a very nice area. There are benches and restrooms for public use. Be sure to bring your towels and beach chairs to really enjoy the day.
