This is a great seaturtle conservation organization. They have a turtle hospital and small education center. The most notable thing with this organization is the during seaturtle nesting season (May - August), they take you on guided walk to watch the turtles up close.

Sea turtles are rehabbed at this facility. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Betty was healing well and getting closer to release. Great displays and ability to see the turtles close up. It was free to visit and very educational.

We took our two daughters (Ages 8 and 4) to see the Turtles who are being nursed back to health. I am not sure who enjoyed it more, my wife and I or the girls. This place is doing amazing work. This is definitely worth a visit. We drove down from Vero Beach and had lunch at the Food Shack... More

I love sea turtles and this place was amazing to visit! Entry is free (donation is greatly appreciated though)! It was awesome to get to see all the rescued turtles and know that they will be released into the wild when they are healthy again. They have turtles in all stages of life. The staff is very friendly and informative... More

We are glad we stopped. Spent over an hour learning about the different sea turtles and how they nurse them back to health. Docents are very well informed. No fee required donations only. Nice but expensive gift store. Worth a visit.

We had visited Gumbo Limbo last year. Loggerhead has a more close up and personal feeling. We had to view outside turtles with umbrellas. But still fun

This is a great way to spend a couple hours and learn at the same time. This place is for all ages, there is a museum & sanctuary for rehabilitation of various species of sea turtles. A wonderful opportunity to get up close and observe these beautiful creatures!

This center is for kids and adults to learn more about the care for sea turtles . The center staff all were very helpful and knowledgeable. There are a number of sea turtles in small tanks which are easy to watch. Don't miss the gift shop and the many turtle souvenirs. We spent more than an hour exploring this place.

I have always loved turtles(and tortoises), so when I had the chance to visit Loggerhead Marinelife Center, I was thrilled. It was very interesting to see how they rehabilitate turtles that are sick or have been injured. Take time out of your day and watch these magnificent creatures swimming and dreaming of the day that they will be released back... More
