Seeing Manatee's in the wild is ridiculously awesome...we've been lucky to see them in this area twice while visiting AMI. Man I love this place.

My favorite beach of Anna Maria islands. Family friendly, nice view, clean sand and good people around. What else?

Very small public beach that gets so crowded during Spring Break and Summer Break. Great place to visit I wouldn't say its a must see. All in all I will be back when its not so busy and crowded.

Magnificent golden sands, all I would say is stay away from any nearby public access as these spots are very busy especially at weekends. Apart from this enjoy.

There is a tiki bar as you enter the beach. However, you cannot take the drink into the beach itself! It’s still awesome though....

Yes you can, as the other comments have stated I would try and get there early. They are planning to complete some changes to the play and rest areas but I am unsure when or if they have been completed as yet.
