We walked all around here and were a bit nervous about a strange sound until we realised it was the clicking of crabs (well, we hope it was).

This Nature Center could be a real heaven at Hollywood northern tip. However, the swamp is infested by aggressive mosquitos and the otherwise lovely beach crammed with rubbish from the ocean. What are they doing with our entrance fees ?

Tranquil and peaceful! On the intercostal. Nice board walk, short walk. It's a great place to just chill.

Beautiful views and short hiking trails and boardwalks. Only saw one Ibis, very small crabs and a few lizards. Must be off-season for birds. Great views of the area from the observation tower.

This area is a must to visit while on the Fort Lauderdale area. It is a free attraction including parking (there is only an area that charges a nominal fee) . The views are spectacular. The area is clean and safe

We didn't see much in the way of wildlife, which was slightly disappointing, but it 's a pleasant area to walk in and the staff, many of whom are volunteers, are helpful and proud of what they take care of.

It's great place to take a boat ride going through the mangroves and estuary. The captain gives educational explanations about the environment there. Very reasonably priced. There's nice boardwalk trails to walk and a lookout tower which has an elevator and stairs.

Great boat tour. Informing and fun. Don't forget to use these three different paths through the park.

Yes there are nature paths that run along the Intracoastal Waterway. Also a few paths that walk through some nice tropical woods. They have a boardwalk, which IS NOT connected to the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk, but it is a... More
