Arrived in the middle of the night because of traffic and was able to camp and pay in the morning. What isn't clear online is that you don't have to reserve a camp spot, you can pick a spot along the river once you get...More

A great area spring adventure! Be sure to bring plenty of water - as there really is only one place to refill. Amazing for tubes - but the BEST for paddle boards! Just LOVED this find ~ 30" north of Gainesville - easy to find!...More

We had a great time camping for the first time at Ginnie Mother's Day weekend. Yes... the tent sites tend to be the college party spot but everyone was respectful. Staff was helpful and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I have been here so many times, and each time it has been for something different. This place is great and never gets old! Scuba diving is a bit limited if you're not cave certified, but the ballroom is a must see,...More

Beautiful Springs and camping. Returned after 23 years and still beautiful, little different with all the loud college frat type parties but still so beautiful. We snorkelled the river as we did 23 years ago and was sorry to see the Alligator gar and bass...More

This is a nice place to spend the day with friends or family. It can be too crowded on the weekends. The water is 72 F all year long. The park has bathrooms , picnic tables and grills. You can camp in the park and...More

Beautiful place. My boyfriend and I went for a couple hours one day on our way back to south Florida from Jacksonville when there were no crazy college students or crazy partiers, so I assume that made my experience much better than others according to...More

The springs are pretty, but the park is way overcrowded with drunk college kids and rednecks. If that's what you are looking for, then you will love it. If not, go to nearby Blue Springs or one of the many other springs within an hour...More

Was a really fun trip! The campsite was affordable, the water was beautiful and the store had all of the things we forgot to bring! Our family of 6 had a blast on our camping trip! We camped, canoed , swam, paddle boarded, snorkels and...More

There are a lot of students drinking here. This is the only spring that allows alcohol. If you're with a family or want to be in a quiet area, I recommend itchnetukee. It's beautiful and has very very very clear water all the way through....More

We have a 28 foot travel trailer with slides and I was wondering which spot you would recommend since I've never been there before. I like being near a bathhouse.

I don't stay at the spring. The showers are nearest to the head of jinny spring. I suggest you get to the site very early if you are going to arrive on a Friday or Saturday always packed. Lots of partying also

Do you have to pay for electricity? Can I just go with my tent and camp?

You pay either way. And it's expensive camping. More for hookups than without.

I was there in Sept and there were very few campers. I actually camped at Manatee State Park and went to Ginnie springs for an afternoon. Loved Manatee for both camping and swimming and highly recommend camping there... More
