Great park with lots of wildlife to view, even in the heat of the day. Saw wild horses, a boar and tons of birds. Nice walking trails too, wide and open.

This is a unique location with well-manicured nature path on open wetlands. Get within feet of alligators, horses, turtles and cranes. Great location to take kids, go for a walk or a longer hike. Always felt safe. Parking with easy and convenient.

Peaceful and serene. Great place to get away from the hustle bustle and commune with nature. Wonderful raised boardwalk provides beautiful vantage points. Look for the wild horses. They are a treat to spot.

Yes, the park is open on holidays. There's a gate that opens and closes at posted hours and a pay station as you pull in, otherwise it's open access.
