This is a wonderful place to take children. There are many different types of animals on display with the main attraction being the monkeys. Since this is a teaching zoo, there are many students on hand to answer questions.

This is a great place to learn more about Florida's wild animals - and their animal colleagues around the world. Because it is relatively small, you get to engage with the zookeepers in training and they love to share the stories of all animals you...More

We visited this zoo last month. It is small and well shaded. There are not a lot of animals, but seems perfect for smaller children. Nice place to spend a quiet hour.

This is a phenomenal zoo. Because it's a teaching zoo there are plenty of students around that you can ask questions. It's not a huge zoo but it serves its purpose beyond expectation.

This is a great zoo, and we're so lucky to have it locally. While it focuses on smaller animals, it's great to take the time to spend with monkeys, tree kangaroos, reptiles and birds. We love to go during the cooler months--if it's humid, remember...More

Had low expectations regarding the variety of animals here when taking my son here for the first time. I was absolutely shocked to find a bunch of different monkeys, tree kangaroos (literally my boy's favorite animal), warty pigs, bald eagles, and a whole bunch of...More
