There is so much to learn about ocean research - possible medical cures, current energy using specially made turbines, aquaculture and more. We had a graduate assistant named Lauren, who took us around to the displays and explained each one. She was very knowledgeable and patient as we... More

I had passed by Harbor Branch numerous times and finally did a little research finding the discovery center open to the public. I took our 10 year old son. We were greeted by a receptionist and student tour guide, Jennifer. Jennifer started us out with a short video about the research facility. Then we toured the sections of the center,... More

the folks at Harbor Branch are amazing. They have dedicated their lives to save the local Dolphins and whales that are stranded, wounded or otherwise sick or injured. Angels, every one of them

Small room, but well designed exhibits. Especially liked the video cameras set up to focus on unique fish or some aspect of underwater life...that can be viewed on a monitor nearby. Perhaps call ahead to make sure a large school group is not visiting. One class can make it loud and difficult to maneuver around freely.
