Loved this beach. My favorite beaches in Florida have been on the Gulf side, however, they had nothing on this south east beach. The water was clear and warm. There wasn't an under tow and the waves were very mild. It was wonderful for a...More

Loved that this beach area was also a well cared for park. Nice to have a clean bathroom and an outside shower after a day in the water. Picnic benches and shade too.

We went here at 6am for Easter Sunrise Church sponsored by St. Anastasia Church. This was a great place to experience the daylight breaking through--was hard that day to see the actual sunrise due to the clouds. Tons of people came with chairs. They had...More

We loved this beach. Can park near the beach and nice bathrooms and showers close. Also, we highly recommend Sunshine Surf School with Jay. My 11-year-old and I had a BLAST taking surfing lessons there at the park.

We were RV camping nearby and wanted to go to the beach before we went home. There's actually an RV lot right there, so you can conveniently park for the day and enjoy the beach. It's also right next to the Navy Seal museum. The...More

You're allowed to be on the beach after dark, but it's fairly dark and secluded at night on the beach side of the highway.

There's no gate or entry fee--just park and walk over the dune to the beach. Restroom facilities are locked at night, tho, and lifeguard hours are limited as well.
