Went here to go the Growers Market, also checked out the Highwayman exhibit at Moore's Creek Park. This town is dying for someone to dump in some major money and get things moving again..very pretty downtown, but way too many vacant stores.Hopefully it will get moving in the right direction.

On February 9th I traveled through Fort Pierce and found the city to be delightful. It has a small town appeal with a very tranquil feel. The absence of chain stores and restaurants add to its attractiveness. I plan to explore the residential environment to see if it is a suitable place for my wife and I to relocate.

Nice town well cared for with Art and Wine bars. It is full of art sculptures and lighted at night. Much to see and worth it!

after moving here we discovered this wonderful down town and all it has to offer. Farmers markets, art fairs, great bars and restaurants, beautiful marina and the best people around. Everyone is super friendly. LOVE MY NEW TOWN

Ft. Pierce still has some of the atmosphere of old time Florida. Not on the must see tourist path, it still offers good restaurants and places to enjoy Florida and relax.

Been going here for several years now. Great variety of fresh vegetables, fruit and many food vendors. Beautiful venue along the river. Need some designated covered eating areas. There is too much good food that should be enjoyed sitting at a table. Huge problem with all of the people and their dogs. Too many dogs in a confined area of... More

Nice town but difficult to ride bicycles in. The roads are narrow and sidewalks are difficult to ride. The bridges are even more difficult.

The whole area by the marina, near the infamous Tiki Bar, is lit up and synchronized to Christmas carols. Great place to bring the whole family. Sing along with the carols. Just sit and enjoy the light show. We didn't know what to expect and it was a delightful holiday season experience for our family. Pick up some fish food... More

Fort Pierce is a cute well-to-do little city/village. Quite a few laid back restaurants at the water. Down town THE high light is the market at the Water front. Fresh produce, local cooking, live music, dancing senior citizens. Saturdays 8-noon

Yes there are still empty storefronts, but there are lots of stores full of good stuff, a number of restaurants worth trying, and on many occasions, festivals that are just plain fun. The marina area and the park next to it are especially nice.
