A touristy spot to buy souvenirs and people watch.

Plakas has the best food! Greek and all kinds of food at very reasonable prices. Great seating area, can see the Pier and the Clock and sometimes there is entertainment.

If you can't what you want here, then you don't need it. The restaraunts are good. All kinds of shopping or you can just sit and people watch. Many hotels are close so you can walk to Times Square. One of the many things we enjoy about Fort Myers Beach.

Watch the sunset from the pier. People watch from one of the outdoor dining restaurants. Buy souvenirs and eat icecream. The location is family friendly during the day. I would not want my family walking around at night. It is probably safe, but there are some questionable characters.

Times Square in Fort Myers Beach is the place to be. It offers everything from bars, the beach, restaurants, and shopping. It has a fun vibe from sunrise to sunset. It is worth the trip to visit plus there is never a dull moment.

Times Square is the nighttime much less hectic version of Key West's Mallory Square.Vendors and some street entertainers are there in the evening along with live music. Walk the pier into the Gulf. Lots of shops, restaurants, and parking for a price nearby. Only drawback is the never ending construction along Estero Blvd. Can take 45 minutes from the south... More

Mainly restaurants, ice cream parlors and T-shirt shops. But it's very pleasant and on the water. You'll have to fight traffic to get here at various times of the day though.

Do you like live music every night? Or a live trio every Friday and Saturday night? Or cold beer? Or cold margaritas? Or cold ice cream. If you don't, then Times Square isn't the place for you. It's a wonderful place to unwind, people watch and catch someone playing at one of the bars/restaurants. Like last Saturday night when we... More

Great beach, crowded (we visited a weekday in February) but not overcrowded. Lots of souvenir shops, restaurants (some with music), ice cream shops and a pier. Well worth the drive from Naples (approx. 45 mins).
