There was no experience other than the fact that I wasted approximately an hour and a half of my vacation going to a comedy club that was closed !!! How you could not know that is beyond me and I want a refund. In fact I feel I should be compensated for the time wasted driving somewhere where I had no idea where I was going only to get there and not be able to see a show. This was the first night of my vacation in Fort Myers and I want to tell you it was not a good experience. I also missed out on dinner with a friend who is leaving town today because I had already booked the comedy club for last night. NOT HAPPY!…

The comedians were good. Although the drinks were soooooo expensive and sooooooo short on liquor . Expensive is OK ..just didn't feel good to be ripped off.

It really doesn't feel good to be accused of ripping people off. We measure every pour using a jigger. Which is standard in bars. Our prices are competitive with other bars and restaurants in the area. We cut no corners on quality, and use only premium ingredients in our drinks. This may be the slight increase in price you see, compared to something like Applebees.

Most comedy clubs I attend put pressure on its guests for a two drink (or item off the menu) minimum in addition to the admission price. We were thankful that while there was a full menu, there was absolutely no pressure to purchase any food or drink at the Laugh In Comedy Cafe. I was in stitches laughing, the entire time. We went for the main act, but the warm up acts offered us a bunch of chuckles, too. What a relief that only one of the four comedians found it in him the need to pick on and ridicule one ethnic group. I prefer to not hear humor at the expense of others. For the most part, the jokes did not belittle any race, religion, etc. I would definitely attend this Comedy Club again!…

We understand that many people enjoy bawdy comedy; we don't. Of four comedians who performed, all used the F word continuously and most of their comedy revolved around sex and explicit sex acts. Not our cup of tea. The first opener was completely stoned and blanked in the middle of his set and had to leave the stage. Excruciating to watch. We stayed halfway though the main comedienne before she drove us away. She was engaged with the audience and talented-just not our type of comedy…

Hello, we feel its important to let comics Express themselves freely. Unfortunately they cant appeal to everyone. I wish you would have stopped and spoken to me before leaving. We would have loved to refund you and let you come back to a tamer show on us. Send me an email laughincrew@gmail.com and let's discuss you visit further there. -David Side note for anyone reading this review: the comic in question about spacing out on stage.. he was not drunk, high, etc. We allow a "guest spot" at every show. It's a 5 min set for local comics working on their craft. This comic simply didn't prepare well enough and had a bit if stage fright. I take pride in my business and I would not allow anyone to perform unfit.
