Edison and Ford are icons of the American Century for a reason, and a visiting tour of their winter estate situated on shore of the Caloosahatchee River south of downtown Fort Myers is one place that should not be missed by the true traveler. There's an atmosphere to the buildings, grounds and waterfront that carry you back to the early... More

Went through the estates this winter for the Edison Christmas light show they do every year. Love the old Florida trees and property there. Had been there once before with the wife as a date night while dating.

February is the month of celebration of Thomas Edison's birthday. There is a very well known parade with bands and floats from all over the world, there is a King and Queen chosen, and the week before the big parade there is a Junior Parade. Plus before things get started there is a birthday party. Also Edison's winter home has... More

Took the guided tour. Very informative! The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of. Wish we had more time to spend in the museum. Parking is free and right on the grounds.

I enjoy the Edison's winter home & Laboratory. I have taken the tour a couple of times, and each time is very educational & enjoyable. In the Holiday season, they have a beautiful Christmas light display, and for a small fee, you can walk the Estate and enjoy the lights. They also have a small gift shop.

Thomas Edison was an amazing human being that changed the world as we know it. Henry Ford was a visionary who made transportation easy. I'm very proud to say this museum is a must... More

We have been here three times during the Christmas season. I was surprised at how much my grandchildren enjoyed the tour of the property. Beautiful especially at Christmas.
