This small body of water is surrounded by paths that snake through a lovely part of Ft. Lauderdale. There are musical performances certain days of the week.

I thought that this was the Ft. Lauderdale River because winds it ways through heart of downtown. Nice views and lots of nearby shopping and restaurants. Take the Water Taxi to stay cool over walking along the shore.

New River has some amazing sights of Fort Lauderdale - definitely recommend you find a cruise, ferry, water taxi, or other way to cruise along it. You'll see the houses of the rich and famous as well as cruise through downtown fort lauderdale!

I bought 2 senior 1 day tickets for $21 each at my hotel. The regular passes are $26 per person. We were there May 20 of this year.
