We crossed over this stretch of waterway via various bridges during a few days in Fort Lauderdale, while also waiting while bridges opened and raised to let larger boats through. We also enjoying navigating a short stretch on board the Ft. Lauderdale (FREE!) water trolley....More

A cruise along the Intracoastal offers stunning close-up views of mansions, yachts, cruise ships and more. It's very relaxing and far better than seeing it from land.

We added this feature for a post cruise experience. Very informative and comedic Captains, first mates! The big ship even serves drinks (for a fee) and popcorn!

This is a great adventure for the whole family to enjoy. You get to see Million Dollar homes on the intercoastal waterway in addition to seeing the various cruise ships in port. Plus looking at all the yachts is fantastic. Thoroughly relaxing.

There are many land viewpoints of the Intracoastal, however, by boat is definitely the best. View some beautiful homes, yachts, ships. Remember to catch the annual water Christmas boat parade, at night. Obey maritime safety rules, for utmost experience.
