Nice place to start, You get a feel for the history of Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach. We were met by two lovely people who were very helpful and engaging. Lots of free maps and handouts about he best things in the area.

This is an excellent place to start your Amelia Island trip. The staff is helpful with up to date information. This is also a pretty restored building.

This is probably one of the most welcoming Welcome Centers you will ever find! A beautifully restored historic train depot, well worth seeing if only for the building.

Manned by very friendly and welcoming staff who were very helpful and offered suggestions and maps. Place is clean as a whistle too!

If you are planning a trip to Amelia Island, I highly recommend going to the visitors center first. The people that work there are a great help. You can get information about attractions, events a dining. A great place to start.

There is plenty of parking available, but you may have to walk a little. The area feels very safe, so unless it's raining, the walk is pleasant. You may find a spot close by, but should be ready to park on a side street and... More

One of the tours we liked a lot was a sunset BYOB cruise. We were lucky enough to see the horse on Cumberland island. We got the tour right on the dock.
