The boat cruise around Amelia and Cumberland was very nice. The hosts provided significant commentary and history. Interesting to hear the stories and see the homes of the Carnegie’s, Rockefellers, etc. We also saw plenty of dolphins. Only con is it seemed a bit slow...More

Went with a European on the cruise to Cumberland Island. Some aspects were great...the narration was great and informative and the captain's jokes were funny (a bit corny/cheesy) but a few of them were only understood by the Americans. Same for the information about the...More

Captain Dave was the tour, delightful tour guide. Calm water, 9 AM tour. Island of the rich was a great story. Saw some of the horses on the island, dolphins in the water too. Plenty of free parking, walk able to the restaurants afterwards.

Captain Pajama Dave gives a great narrative of the cruise with a great sense of humour. As a long time 'transplanted native'he has a lot of local knowledge that he's able to share. Strongly recommended

Pokamoke river is absolutely beautiful. Captain Jerry was very knowledgeable and passionate about the area and nature. I will do this cruise over and over again. A trip to the eastern shore should include Captain Jerry

Either is enjoyable ... the Cumberland Island one gives a little more history of the Carnegies and Kennedy's plus history about Fort Clinch. I personally prefer the Cumberland Island one!
