Don’t count on getting information from the Chamber. It looks as though it hasn’t reopened since Irma. We pulled up on Friday and again on Saturday and no sign of life anywhere🤨.

A short intro to the area. It is not the best welcome center to gather info. We were able to obtain better info at our hotel

In January 2018, I returned to Everglades City for the fifth time, a little nervous of what I would find after the devastation of Hurricane Irma. If I hadn't known the area, I might have been totally put off by the condition of this facility,...More

There was a helpful person working and a few brochures, but nothing else at this Chamber of Commerce information center. The worker told us they'd sold everything and no one had gotten around tonreordering for the new season.

Good location nice building but desperately needs more bathrooms. We finally had to "go" at the station across the street. All in all, everglades city does not treat tourists well and has very few facilities a day is not friendly. A long way to drive...More

If the woman staffing the center had been more bored we would have thought she was dead. There was limited information and no interest on her part to offer us anything. Drink and snack machines were the best it had to offer.

Friendly clerk has all the info about the attractions nearby. Reminds me of the old time FLorida atmosphere. Worth a stop.
