Over priced and nothing to see. Saw much more wildlife on way to tour than on tour. Three hour drive without seeing anything more than two deer and a gator. In the middle of nowhere. Should have told us it was slow season for viewing but instead booked is , took our money and wasted our entire day. Call and... More

Captain Steve is a terrific character with plenty of insight. We took a casual buggy ride into Big Cypress and even during the dry season there were animals galore, including white ibis, a big old 9-foot gator so close you could see the gleam in its eye, and an endangered fox squirrel...truly a rare treat. The Captain knows where to... More

We love the Everglades and have spent many days exploring from car- accessible sites. This experience was so interesting to have a private tour though the Everglades National Park interior. Beautiful and varied scenery. We left at 2pm. no animal sightings until dusk, and then saw a deer, a couple gators and a snake. Otis was our driver and was... More

Though we appreciated the personalization of the tour with the history and family stories, the tour was stretched way too thin trying to make it last four hours. There were too many stops, the ride was too slow, and frankly there wasn't enough to see or to hear about for four hours. The strangest stop was in the middle of... More

Went out in the swamp buggy with Captain Steve again. Every time we wanted to stop, he stopped for us. We left off Loop Rd and ended off Wagon Wheel. This was my second trip and it was better than the first. Saw deer, hawk, ibis, egret, herons, orchids, and what a beautiful day!

We took both the Airboat Tour and the Swamp Buggy Ride and highly recommend doing them both. Captain Steve was fun and very knowledgeable and the Airboat was a blast! We saw lots of alligators, including babies, and birds! If you take an airboat tour, be sure to ask Captain Steve to take you to the "Alligator Canal". Gators, gators,... More

I host exchange students and always bring them to Capt. Steve's to experience another aspect of Florida. They love the swamp buggy ride and playing in the water. The airboat ride was just incredible flying through the grass of the Everglades. The guides provide the students with an aspect of local southern culture.

This was one of the best tours I have done. I have been on tours and self guided trips RV'ing all over the United States, Alaska and Canada including driving in a Honda Civic all the way to Prudhoe Bay. (yes it can be done but I would advise a jeep or something higher off the ground than a Honda... More

It was such a great adventure with our super captain Steve. I just enjoyed this trip so much because it was super funny to "fly" over the water, see some alligators and just have the best guide for all this, who showed us some really special places. I´m an exchange student from Germany and i never did something like this... More
