We took both tours--the Mangrove tour and the 10,000 Island boat ride. Both were wonderful and very different from one another. The Mangrove tour takes groups of 5-6 people on a small boat into the mangrove canals and swamps. The dark mangrove trees close overhead as the canals narrow, and millions of tiny fish, disturbed by the oncoming boat, leap... More

The Mangrove tour is the only boat tour you should take in the Everglades. Take the 9 am (first of the day) if you want to see a ton of animals before everyone has scared them away. This is the only tour that goes into the National Park. The boat is small (6-passengers) and quiet (does not scare animals). Our... More

Best public service and tour information ever!! Friendly Advice for Tour Company Owners: Just wish if someone (like me) missed the wildlife due to major rain out that you would be allowed to take another tour free later if the boat had an empty seat once the sun was shining, so that you could see the wildlife you missed later.... This tour was definitely worth it. We witnessed several dolphin pods jumping and riding the waves behind the boat in calm waters just inside the bay with plenty of birds and a stunning sunset.

I wanted to show my family the 10,000 islands and this is a wonderful way to do it. The captain was intent on having the dolphins jump in the wake. It's pretty entertaining. The run the boats quite frequently (every 30 minutes when we were there. The isn't a long wait and the boat wasn't crowded. This is a 90... More

We had a blast with this ten thousand boat tour. Not only we saw manatee (nose in and out of water), we also saw at least two dolphins, jumping in and out of water, playing, even showed a synchronized jump with a sting ray! They also followed our boat when we increase speed out of the manatee tunnel.

I was running late because of car troubles and I emailed the tour people and they said it would be fine if I did the tour I reserved later in the day and to just show the check in people my confirmation and the email. This was the week before Christmas mid-week, so they weren't full at all and I... More

I travelled here before and was pleased with the 10,000 islands tour, although there was little to see except mangroves. During that trip we bought tickets as we were there. This time we purchased tickets online for the mangrove swamp tour and when we arrived they claimed our reservation was for the following day. I even showed them the date... More

Similar to other reviews we bought our tickets online. When we arrived they printed out our tickets for the following day. We bought our tickets for December 30th they printed out our tickets for the 31st. We drove 3 hours for a boat ride we couldn't take. The manager refused to refund even tho we provided documentation that out bout... More

This was a 6-person boat tour w/Captain Rob. He was informative & a good spotter for alligators. We saw several birds - ibis, osprey, herons, pelicans. Also did see several alligators - some sun bathing & several submerged/feeding. On the way back, we also spotted several dolphins. Overall we all had a great time.
