Take the kids on this voyage and let them experience all the wildlife that is there. You will learn so much and the your children will be lost in wonder with all there is to see. Educational aspects abound from the boat operators and you can easily learn quite a few things in a short period of time.

This tour delivered all that was promised: a variety of birds, dolphins, manatees, and a pleasant ride with a knowledgeable crew. Very enjoyable!

We went on both boat tours. It was comfortable and the guides were fine and knowledgeable. Didn't see that much in the mangroves. Lots of same birds u see everywhere. Saw dolphins feeding but to aggressive and we scared them away. Mosquito s were very bad and at the end shared but spray!!! The 1000 islands was nothing ex ceptional.... More

Having visited many National Parks, we have acquired the upmost respect for the National Park rangers. However, at this center we had 2 unpleasant encounters with the same much older ranger. The first time I thought maybe: bad day. Today when I asked only for a map of camping spots, he looked at me and said, "I'm not planning your... More

Expected to go on a convenient, relaxing boat ride, which it was, but we got much more. Got there early in the morning, and we were the only people on the boat, so the captain and mate tailored the experience for us. Learned a lot!

We took both the 10,000 Islands tour (January 2017) and the Mangrove tour the following month. Not only were the boat rides enjoyable, but we also learned a great deal about the history and wildlife as well as saw a variety of animal inhabitants. The tour guides were very knowledgable. Between the two tours, we saw dolphins, several bird species,... More

We thought this tour was going to be lead by a representative of the Everglades National Park. IT WAS NOT! This trip is a privately run tour, using the name of the Everglades National Park. We took the Mangrove tour with Captain Bill. He started our trip with a chip on his shoulder, he was verbally abusive and was only... More

The 10,000 Island Boat Tour did not disappoint. The captain and first mate shared lots of information about the park the history of the area. During the 1 1/2 hour tour we saw many different types of birds, looked for manatees and learned about the ecology and geography of the Everglades. But the dolphins were the stars of the show.... The fact that the tour guide, Daniel, took an interest in our 11 year old granddaughter, the only child on three trip, saved the cruise for her, but not for use. We got to see one dolphin, no manatees or sharks, and a few birds that we have seen elsewhere along the Gulf. That being said, it was a beautify... More
