The Cave is a natural cave located in Al Hamra. The cave was first discovered by locals several hundred years ago. Can Not imagine something can be formed by nature ..

We have seen more better caves around the world. Guide was in a hurry and we had hardly any time to look around. Do not visit except when you have a lot of time.

Don't believe the negative reviews. Even if the train isn't running it is a short walk from the visitor centre to the cave entrance on a paved surface. As for the cave, it's much better than any on the UK, I can't speak for other...More

Yes, we saw other couples with babies leaving the stroller at the entrance and carrying the baby. It's just about 40 minutes inside the caves, after that stroller again :)

The best route for you would be to drive to Yanqul and then to Ibri. From there you can drive to Bahla and further down to Al Hoota Cave. It should take you around 3.5 hours from Sohar.
