Designed by world renowned golf course architect Donald Ross, the club opened January 1, 1927. FDunedin Country Clubrom 1945 through 1962, Dunedin Golf Club was the home of the PGA of America. During that time we hosted 18 Senior Tour Championships, and this was the beginning of the Senior PGA Tour. Back then, the PGA and PGA Tour of today were the same corporation. In 2006 and 2007 our facility went through a major restoration with rebuilding of our greens, tees and bunkers. It's been restored to nearly the same as when legendary golf architect Donald Ross first drew up Dunedin Golf Club on the drafting table. Today, Dunedin Golf Club is one of the top clubs in the Tampa Bay area. In May, we were named "2008 Country Club of the Year" by Tampa Bay Magazine. When you tee off, you follow in the footsteps of some of the greatest golfers of all times: Al Watrous, Babe Zaharais, Ben Hogan, Bobby Jones, Bobby Cruickshank, Byron Nelson, Cyril Walker, Gene Sarazen, Harold "Jug" McSpaden, Horton Smith, Jimmy Demaret, Louise Suggs, Sam Snead, Tommy Armour, Walter Hagan, the great Babe Zaharias and Patty Berg from the LPGA. In more recent times the likes of Mark Calcavecchia, John Huston, Brittney Lincicome, Ben Crenshaw and many other great tour players have all played here at Dunedin Golf Club!

Older course with plenty of character. It will play as difficult as you are up to. Fairways are good. Greens are super fast but true, good luck. Sand in the bunkers must be right off the pristine beaches, good luck again. Plan enough time to...More

Played here yesterday (Feb 18, 2017) & was taken aback by how poor the condition of the course is. It has really gone downhill since I played it last 2 years ago (& I saw the early signs then). I was told that this club...More

We were at least one to two groups deep on a Wednesday afternoon. Bailed out after 10 holes. Course was in decent shape, but no one was patrolling and keeping groups moving. Saw the drink cart once in the four hours it took to play...More

Golf course was in good shape and a nice track. great "city" type course. Also had the best burger around. We could have used a marshal as the group (twosome) in front of us was painfully slow and would not allow us to play thru

First time a club food was great and place was immaculate! We were celebrating the short life of Cameron Scholderer who's parents have been our lifetime friend! Cameron was 29 years old and very sadly died of heart attack. Club did great job. He had...More

My husband and I chose to golf at Dunedin based on Internet reviews and after reading the history of the course. I expected more after learning that the PGA was once held there. The best part of the course were the old, mossy trees that...More

The Donald Ross design enticed me to play here on my vacation yesterday. Bermuda grass can be baffling for a midwestern golfer, but the course was in good shape. Challenging course with great bunkers and tricky greens. Ross penalizes the golfer who misses the green,...More

Yes. I would suggest you join "golf now". We payed $29 per person for 18 holes and that included the cart. You won't regret it.
