I am not normally a huge beach person but the beach just looked so inviting. Having facilities (bathroom, outdoor rinse shower) there made it so much better. I didn't have to drive back with sand stuck to me or have to leave the beach in...More

Beautiful unspoiled beach with bath houses. There is a charge unless you go to church service on Sundays. The times now are 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. during standard time. They could change.

Very friendly staff willing to help you w/ whatever you need in the park. I had never been there. We rode our bikes to the park to explore. I look forward to visiting this park again very soon.

After looking at many beach venues, Henderson Beach was by far the prettiest and least crowded place to have a beach wedding. Anne Marie, the event coordinator was also very helpful.

If you have young kids or older family members this park has really nice picnic area and bathrooms. The value of just $5/6 bucks not to stress when my little one does the pee pee dance is worth it for me.

You will not find a nicer state park in Florida. Clean restrooms, sites are large and separated....but..... this is also the noisiest state park. Six lane highway, sirens which are normal, helicopter landing pad nearby, but if you stay in loop d be prepared for...More

You can go to “myfwc” which is Florida wildlife conservation. It had an area with red tide map. Just click on it & it will show you what you want to know. Also you can call the state park.
