I went fishing here, it was very easy to rent a pole and buy bait. Really the only complaint I had is most of the people cut their bait on the railing because it is easy but they then leave the mess behind. Other than...More

Great for an after-dinner walk or to take visitors to see the ocean. They charge $1 per person but the pier is well-maintained. If you get all the way to the end you'll find people fishing off the pier who are pretty serious about what...More

The pier is are at place to just stroll out and enjoy the sun, people and watching people fish. You can also fish yourself. There are pelicans and sea gulls to watch. Great family place!

Nowhere around there is pet friendly. Everything is so manicured it is far from natural looking even if outdoors. With entry fees, and all dogs kept away, even on a crowded day, it wasn't busy...

I went to the Beach right beside the pier. The Pier itself is a nice view and people were really enjoying the day on the pier. Parking was easy but $2 per hour not bad and right on the beach.

Alcohol is not permitted on the pier if I recall, but I have no idea about a crab trap. It's pretty high above the water, and I didn't see anyone else doing this, but that doesn't mean it can't be done. But no alcohol.

They charge a dollar to go on the pier but Check with website to see if there is an age limit for fishing. Also check if a fishing licence is necessary

Dogs are not allowed anywhere on Ocean Way from the east sidewalk to the beach. This includes the entire boardwalk area and the pier itself.
