Awesome

Great waves, wide and sandy. It was December so there weren't many people and no cars. I really liked it. Great body surfing.

While in the area for Turkey Run we had to make time for the Beach! We love Daytona's Beach because it's so big and roomy. We actually drove our vehicle out on it for the 1st time ever and got some great pictures! The ocean water was a little chilly but still okay to get in for a little bit... More

Lots of beach for walking. Ocean was warm enough in late November to enjoy. You can rent chairs and umbrellas or bring your own.

We spent 2 days in Daytona while on our way to Miami for a cruise. We walked the wonderful beach many times. Sure is a lot different then the beaches in North Carolina.

Daytona beach is still wonderful- many hotels and resorts of varying prices to choose from or you can gain public access by car. A1A is old Florida for the most part- speckled with newer Daytona Ocean Walk Shops with newer trendy restaurants, bars, shops in the north end to older original non-chain restaurants heading more south in Daytona. Parking in... More

My son and I took a bike ride on Daytona Beach. We traveled about 12 miles at high tide. Probably not the smartest time to go for a ride but despite the tide, we had a great ride. Saw a flock of osprey and even one bathing in the ocean about 10 yards from us. We had a great time... More

It was amazing! Sunsets and sunrises were gorgeous! We spent most of our time on the beach, We were amazed how you can drive on the beach, The water was a little cool in November. But we still had fun collecting seashells.
