Terrible night. Row 3 could not hear one joke. Sound system terrible. I think some people could hear. They will not refund money. We spoke to usher who took us to the office where headsets are but it was closed. I go to the Peabody a lot and they have top rate performances. Read a couple reports from Facebook. Feb.... More

We are very sorry you did not enjoy the show. We do have a no refund policy (unless a show is cancelled) as does the Peabody and any other such entertainment venue. The Playhouse will continue to strive to improve the sound of any and all productions and we will ensure our hearing devices are available throughout a performance. More

We went to see The Addams Family last night. The performance and actors were excellent! Very funny! ADA updates are marginal, so in the theater a wheelchair user still has to sit in the back on a cement pad that has a dangerous, lopsided egress into the "box". My husband had the companion seat in which he stated he was... More

Consistently strong performances from very capable community troupe. They do comedy, drama, musicsls, radio plays, and mysteries. Recent highlights include Noises Off, Spamalot and Twas The Night Before Christmas. Not a bad seat in the house. You can take your wine and snacks into the theater. They recently renovated their lobby. A lovely evening for all involved.

Enjoyed " Side Effects". We try to make a visit to Daytona Playhouse when we are in Florida. Never disappointed with the plays here. Easy access getting here and always a good seat anywhere you sit. They serve drinks. For the value and good entertainment, you can't match this type of playhouse.

I can understand the appeal of Broadway and comparing a local Daytona Beach theater would be unfair. Although, the shows that I have seen at the Daytona Playhouse have been exceptional. So for $20 vs $200, why not compare? The level of talent, time and effort that goes into the set design and building as well as the costumes, makes... More

Delightful small theater presentation by inspired and talented personnel! Have attended several presentations over the years and enjoyed them all. Most recent one, "The Kids Left, The Dog Died, Now What"" was a fun mix with some out-loud hysterical moments. A lighthearted evening of pleasant entertainment. The theater is small enough so all the seats have an easy view of... More

After a nice pre-show dinner at Anna's Tratoria my wife and I really enjoyed the Playhouse. Clean, spacious parking lot on the river, friendly staff, alcohol available for purchase; jug white or red wine, coors light or yuengling. Candy sold as well. Every seat is good. Chairs comfortable. Well produced play. We will be back!

Daytona Playhouse hosts community theater in venue that is small enough it doesn't have a bad seat. We have enjoyed a comedies and a musical. At least once a year they have a youth theater play. Ticket prices are reasonable and senior discount starts at 55. There are discounts for youth too. Makes a great evening or matinee.

The Daytona Playhouse is a surprising resource. The theater company is entering its 61st season in the same location, amazing for a community theater. The front part of the theater has just undergone renovations so the theater-going experience is better than ever. The Playhouse has 6 productions planned for the 2016-2017 season with a whimsical and exciting lineup. I attended... More
