YouTube videos from Peta with footage of the way they actually treat these poor animals when paying customers aren't around. Very sad and disturbing. These are wild animals, not playthings for tourists. It's upsetting to the tigers to be manhandled indiscriminately all day long and then forced into a swimming pool with tourists so they can have a picture! Tigers... More

Dade City's Wild Things is a small zoo. I enjoyed the jungle trek tour, it was more personal with a small group of people. The animals responded well to us, very relaxed. The enclosures were on the small side, but very clean with ample sunlight, shade, and fresh water. The flora and fauna was beautiful. My husband and I chose... More

I found the whole experience disturbing. The whole place is basically small cages in woodland. One cage had 2 tigers in it, another cage had a hose pipe threaded through the top of the cage, for water. This cage was not even in the shade. The weather was 94 degrees. I only did the tram ride, so did not see everything.... More

I was hoping for the best after reading mixed reviews, I'm from a small town and feel like in general I'm pretty open to small town attractions and small town quirks. Upon arrival at the "office" where you go to buy tickets, check-in, etc. I decided to use the restroom before tour fun began. I discovered that the restroom is... More

When my daughter asked to pet/hold a tiger for her Birthday, this seemed like their perfect place. It was that and so much more! I wish I remembered the names of our tour guide (we took the tram tour) and the girl who brought out and told us about the animals for our encounter. Everyone was wonderful, very nice and... More

I'm shocked at how many people seem to celebrate the abuse that takes place here. Baby tigers are being churned out so that tourists can have something to brag about. I really hoped for better, but it's impossible to ignore the facts.

If you want the most honest review here it is Most of the bad reviews on here are by PETA or other organizations that are against any type of animal interactions with humans, and would rather the animal be dead then here. I loved this place and I will absolutely go back! Yes, the cages are too small and hopefully... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. . we love our animals and appreciate your observations for our love and care for them. We have always strived to make their environment better and if not for PETA's impact we would be doing many more things. But the quality of care and love is our priority and your... More

The animal encounter was really the only decent part. The team is nice but not worth the money at all. Between my family and I, we spent over $200 for a 25 minute tour and an encounter that lasted less than 5 minutes. You are not allowed to take your own pictures or video. They take it all and then... We did the tram tour and 4 animal encounters. The tram tour was definitely worth the $, as you get close to a lot of animals. The encounters are great, and offer opportunities to touch animals you wouldn't normally be able to. You can't take any pictures, so definitely pay extra for the photos. They emailed the link to download... More
