There really isn't much here. It is right along the highway so parking can be an issue. Nice little stopping point for school kids

This is a quick picturesque stop along the road that was a good history lesson. Plaques explain the process of sugar making during the civil war.

If you like history you need to stop and see. This is the oldest standing historic structure in Citrus County and of the Civil War Era. All plants and property of the park are protected. There are designated areas for pets and fires for picnicking....More
