The reason for only 3 stars is the limited parking that is available. On a busy day you may be hard pressed to find a spot. Considering the fishing pier easily could accommodate as many as a dozen people and with 2 covered picnic areas...More
I love the boardwalk and beach. Great place for a picnic! A beautiful walk along the trees and water!
Great for a short stroll to see the Gulf of Mexico......there is also a beach next to this....small, but nice. Plenty of parking; but really crowded on the weekends.
This is a great place to spend the morning. There were several species of wood peckers. It's a short walk to the boat ramp and dock where we saw manatees swim by.
This park was recommended by our guide from Family Adventure Charters-close by, beautiful, relaxing.
This is a nice little trail that connects Fort Island Beach to the pier. Only takes a few minutes to walk through though.
