We visited with our three children (ages 10, 6 and 1) and they all enjoyed the experience. We loved the manatee exhibit of course! The underwater viewing area is a must! That was the kids favorite of the whole trip. Will be back for sure!

We arrived later in the day and were able to watch the birds be fed and also the Manatee. Had a wonderful time.

Certainly one of Florida's greatest treasures its clear to see why the Manatees call it home. We'll be back. Just not soon enough!

Very pretty and calm. Seen a variety of critters. Take the ferry boat it's so calm, and the driver shows alligator and turtles along the way, the tram is just pulled by a truck so noisy and no information given.

It was a great time, we rode the tram to the refuge and walked around. They had a lot of the park employees that were very helpful and informative on the animals, super friendly people. I loved both gift shops, maybe a little too much....More

We didn't see many manatees because it was too warm but was still beautiful and I would highly recommend visiting.

They have three captive manatees that are great to see. Many injured birds being rehabbed there along with ust as many wild birds there. Great photo opportunities.

I think everyone is confusing this with Homosassa Springs in the reviews, lol. Crystal River Wildlife Refuge is situated around the Three Sisters Springs in Crystal River. You can walk into the refuge or take a trolley. It's pricey too ($15), but the money goes...More

They have an entrance fee. It's not priced separately. It isn't expensive at all.
Hi Patricia. Your remarks...were they directed at Homossassa refuge or right in Crystal River?

We kayaked in Crystal River and back in the Wildlife Refuge. We saw manatees both in the river and in the refuge (more in the river), but we saw lots of birds and a small alligator in the refuge. We were there in the end... More

There are canoe and kayak rental establishments in Crystal River. There are none at 3 Sisters Springs but all around town. Ask the Chamber of Commerce folks and also look online and call ahead. Do not molest the manatees... More
