I agree with the other travelers. Since this is new, I hope that they will improve on the museum. It was a little hard to follow surfer Proper's story, but I appreciated the items exhibited. I liked the video footage.

Yes it is small, but it only cost a donation of your choice. Worth the trip across from Ron Jon's. Stop and get some Key Lme pie next door!

this place is in the back of a surf rental shop but very interesting. Person there was very welcoming. A donation is optional but for the friendly welcome it is so worth it. Right near Ron Jon's surf shop (another must).

This is a room located in the back of Ron John which I found by accident. It consists primarily of posters and artwork. Can be seen in 10 minutes or less.

In my mind a museum should teach you something. I felt this museum was just a place to display awards. It was pretty blah but so small that it could not have been considered a waste of time.

Tiny "museum" at Ron Jon rental store. Better display of boards & memorabilia at Ron Jon Surf Shop. Free attraction, good info, but was not all we expected of a "museum"

This museum is super cool to see. We have been a couple of times and it never gets old. They have truly captured the history of eastern seaboard surfing.

Recently renamed The Florida Surf Museum (2015), you will find two rotating exhibits, one of which usually has a Florida or Space Coast focus. The exhibit hall is located in back of the Ron Jon rental hall adjacent to the main Ron Jon's big box...More
