Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I am a casual golfer and only golfed here because of a promotion. The course itself was very nice and well maintained. Other than that I won't be going back. The starter harassed us a couple of times because of slow play. We were playing at a 4 hour pace, which I thought was about right for 18 holes with 4 par 5s. According to him 3.5 hours tops. I guess they have a lot of 12 handicappers there.

I would like to start this off by saying this is the first time I have ever written a complaint. I had a 3:30 tee time booked for today for myself and my 6 year old son (he was just riding not golfing). I was told that the age limit was 6 when we checked in, then I was told I had to have a second person to watch my son? This seems old, because my son has rode along with me at your golf course for the past two years and that has not been the case. I found this unacceptable. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed in what happened. My son is very interested in golf and he looks forward to the time we spend on the course every time we are in town. Cocoa Beach Country Club is not Family Friendly!

Living near the Cocoa Beach Golf and Country Club is a PLUS! Not only are there 3 -9 hole courses with fabulous scenery and wildlife but there is also tennis, swimming, a restaurant and bar and a Senior Center that hosts a variety of indoor events in a climate controlled environment. Because it is a community venue, the rates are reasonable and tee times are often available on the spur of the moment. They are constantly caring for the area, making great progress on upgrades and adding to the existing resources. If you are visiting the area, stop in and check it out. You will surely find something you will love!

I played the course for the first time last week with some friends. The course has a 27 hole layout. We played the Dolphin & the Lakes. We were all in agreement that the course had a nice layout & all the greens were in very good condition. I will defiantly play at Cocoa again. I never got to see the River course, maybe next time.

My son and I played 9 holes on 2 separate occasions.
Not very challenging but well lay'd out and great greens.
The clubhouse is a tad out dated, but the staff was extremely friendly.
Highly recommend to work out the kinks and have a relaxing afternoon.
Didn't see any alligators or snakes. whew

Beautiful course, a bit more difficult than my usual executive course in Tampa. The grounds are very nice with spectacular views of wildlife and water.

Located on the grounds of the country club, the Cocoa Beach Municipal Golf Course has three 9-hole courses - Dolphin (shorter,) Lakes (longer,) and River (most scenic.) The 18 or 9-hole course that you play will vary week-to-week. The golf course boasts 17 lakes and is quite scenic with a number of palm trees separating the holes. Each hole is named for a bird that is most prominent there. Expect to see alligators, birds and turtles while you play. Often you can see dolphins in the Banana River. The courses are relatively flat and suitable for the average recreational golfer. Three main leagues play here on a regular basis. The relatively reasonable rates vary according to the season, time of day and whether the golfer walks or rides. Local residents and Florida residents receive discounted rates. Check the Website for all the up-to-date rates and the Pre-Paid Package. There are putting and chipping greens, a Driving Range plus a Pro Shop for the latest in golf apparel and accessories. Copious rains during the summer rainy months may cause some restrictions in play and may even close the course. Before or after golf, golfers may enjoy a snack, breakfast, lunch or drinks at the 19th Hole Restaurant. Prices are very reasonable.
The Country Club is more than just the golf course and 19th Hole Restaurant. The Aquatic Center has a 50-Meter pool, Spray Pool, Children’s Splash Pool and a Jumbo Slide. The Tennis Complex is excellent and the open air Pavilion is used by many local groups. Surrounding the Pavilion is a sand volleyball court and a Children’s Playground. Freedom 7 Senior Community Center calls Cocoa Beach Country Club home, as well. The club also has a large room with a stage for meetings and special events. We are lucky to have the country club in Cocoa Beach and best of all, it is open to the public.

A very nice couple of rounds at the Cocoa Beach Country Club. Tee boxes a little rough, fairways good, but the viewing of the foliage, the many different birds and the snapping turtles and the one alligator make up for the small short comings. If you happen to hit near one of the many water hazards you may want check very carefully for your ball. If you have alligator saddles on your shoes...I wouldn't shoe them off.

This is a wonderful tennis facility. Courts have just been redone. There is also an excellent resturant on the property. It is a great place for lunch after a tennis match.
