Island Boat Lines offer daily Eco tours of the Cocoa Beach Thousand Islands. Our most popular tour is the two hour Eco tour "In Search of Wildlife". Passengers have the opportunity to see herds of Manatees, flocks of Birds and playful Dolphin as they journey through the heart of the Cocoa Beach Thousand Islands.

Tours are guided by a USCG Certified Captain and Professional Naturalist who will help passengers discover wildlife as they journey through the islands "In Search of Wildlife". Be sure to view the photos which have been provided to us by our passengers throughout the years.

We were a family of 5 adults. I am from the area and had visitors who wanted to go for a short boat tour on the river, so we happened upon Island Boat Lines. Our tour guide Jeff had an excellent knowledge of the river/habitat. The boats itself had a nice covering overhead, so we were comfortably shaded during the... More

We do a lot of guided tours around the world, and maybe our standards are high. But we can not say that this tour was more than the basics of the wildlife and the Banana River area. Notable is if you are interested in seeing the river side of the houses of Cocoa Beach you will get a really great... More

Knowledgeable guide, particularly about the birds, but little marine life to see. While the site pictures show manatees in clear water, you find out that the route takes you through brackish water, with little ability to see the manatees. Oh and there were a couple of dolphin fins to see. Otherwise a nice tour of the ecosystem.

This past week we enjoyed a great two hour tour of the Thousand Islands on the Banana River. Capt Bob delivered an informative narrative which added so much to our experience. Our excitement peaked when we came upon pods of manatees then again as dolphins raced alongside our boat! We will be coming back next month with friends from Kansas... More

My family and I were headed to the Sarasota Bay for lunch and didn't know about Island Boat Lines. We happened to walk by just as a tour was getting ready to leave so we decided to jump on. It was a great time. We saw numerous dolphins and the narrator shared a lot of history about the area. Definitely... More

We participated in a Wildlife Pontoon Lagoon Cruise as an excursion from the Carnival Pride Cruise Ship docked @ Port Canaveral. We were shuttled by bus to Cocoa Beach and boarded one of Island Boat Line's pontoon boats. The cruise lasted more than 2 hours with information provided by a naturalist. They provided soft drinks and water. We had numerous... More

Three of us took the 2-hr eco tour on the Banana River. The price was reasonable and was good value. The driver and tour guide were very well informed about the wildlife in the area and made it a lot of fun. We saw manatees, dolphins and tons of different birds. Would not hesitate to take it again or recommend... More
