The Dinosaur Store facility includes the museum gift store, the Adventure Zone, and when complete in Spring 2014, the Museum of Dinosaurs and Ancient Cultures (located on 2nd and 3rd floor). The museum gift store, The Dinosaur Store, has been featured on CNN, Popular Mechanics, Southern Living and a many other national media venues. It boasts one of the largest selections of authentic fossils and minerals in the private world. The Adventure Zone is a separate interactive area for the entire family, featuring live reptiles, including alligators up to 8 feet up close. It includes over 25 unlimited play /educational stations for one low price. An amusement ride that makes you feel like you are spinning and rocking around in the ocean is also available for an additional charge (restrictions apply). The admission to the museum gift store is complimentary and the Adventure Zone has an admission charge. Parking is free. Both are open 7 days a week. Please visit our website for more information. The facility is located in the heart of Cocoa Beach, directly on SR 520, right around the corner from Ron Jon Surf Shop.

Arcade area was limited, most machines were not working or holding on my a thread or electrical tape. The most horrific things was that the room with the reptiles was not being attened, I must have waited outside the room for 10min. When I asked...More

I had heard about this store, but didn't realize it had fee-based "adventure zone" area and museum. I may not have ventured in if I had. Instead, I walked around the store ogling the fossils and gemstones. This alone is educational and would be entertaining...More

This is a must stop for families with young children. We encountered the store years ago when it was across the street in a much smaller location. As old school Dino Store customers we have seen the growth and development as a positive. Our grandson...More

Went into the shop just to get out of the heat and let the kids roam a bit. Found an awesome gem and fossil store AND two stories of a really nice natural history museum. Very unexpected - small but nicely laid out, wonderfully detailed...More

Just a store for trinkets. Worn out games for kids mostly in disrepair. Overpriced for a tiny arcade. Very little dinosaur aspect or angle. Nice snakes. Pretty much misses the point, and/or the hook they are selling.More

I feel the need to clarify (this review is a bit misleading)... The Museum of Dinosaurs and Ancient Cultures is a non-profit museum located on the 2nd and 3rd floors. It is definitely a bonafide museum, but I am thinking that you did not go...More

So you have the choice of paying a $6 donation per person to walk thru the museum, or walk around the store for free. We chose the later but still dropped in cash to the donation box in the store. Very unique items on display...More

Why is the new museum that opened up top not listed on TripAdvisor anywhere? For anyone who has been to the new museum up top, what is in the Egyptian artifact collection exactly?

I passed by earlier in the week and everything seemed normal. In addition, the parking lot was full. Week before last, I did read they were making some changes/upgrades (Florida Today). Will check further.
