Come join us on a fun filled, narrated sightseeing tour of Clearwater's harbor. Enjoy a relaxing ride while you learn about our abundant wildlife, and view the area's dolphins in their natural environment. Every trip stops at Compass Island where you can collect shells, swim, snorkel and the kids can even hunt for treasure! Dolphin sightings are guaranteed*. Excursions depart from the Clearwater Beach Marina multiple times every day. Spend an hour and a half to an hour and forty five minutes with our highly trained crew in the Clearwater Harbor on board our 40 foot Coast Guard inspected excursion boat. For twenty to thirty minutes during your trip, the boat will stop at Compass Island where you will have the opportunity to shell hunt through thousands of shells, swim, snorkel (gear is provided) and enjoy the island. Our boats are available for charter as well. If you're looking for something more intimate with friends and family on the water we can accommodate. We have done weddings, rehearsal dinner socials, proposals, birthday parties, bachelor parties, anniversaries, school and church groups and family reunions.

My husband and I went at the tour on 1 pm. It was incredible. I stopped by their place to ask and I was surprised by the price I heard. I believe it was 19 something per person including encounter with dolphins, collecting shells and show some celebrities' homes. I liked that trip and I enjoyed it!

The boat on the website was broke so we traveled on a smaller boat. Did not go out to sea but made a lap around the bay. As expected didn't see a dolphin. We were told we were in luck and could ride for free if we came back within 30 days. Not a problem if you live in the... More

The trip was okay. It was a fair price and just being out on the boat was fun. We did go to see the dolphins, but we saw one jump right away and then the boat left the area. My thought was, "that was it." I thought we could have looked harder for more. We visited an island to collect... More

Not a fancy boat but gets the job done. Captain Bob and First Mate Eddie were very personable and authentic. Eddie was great about making sure the kids could see and the captain narrated some cool info about homes along the beach. Would definitely book again!

Thank you for a great, fun filled tour! The captain and his guys were entertaining and very knowledgeable on the area. They happily answered questions and were very patient with children

They did not know if they were going to go out or not due to winds. When they decided to go they called me and let me know. We saw a bunch of dolphins and got to go to a nice little island. Sunset or late is my suggestion. Not expensive at 21 dollars a person. Thx Encounters!

We had the greatest family trip on the boat and just loved it - we highly recommend. Again and again we were surrounded by dolphins. Enjoyed the stop on a little island with golddigging for the kids (age 4 and 7) and a little swim (you cant see anything snorkling) Great crew and nice with a little and affordable snackbar... More

Tried the Encounter with Dolphins cruise one morning out of dock #25. Only a few people on the boat so it was nice to be able to move around. The captain was knowledgeable on the different mansions dotting the coastal waterway and pointing out dolphins that were swimming about. We stopped at a small island for approx. 20 minutes and... what a great little boat ride, we not only got to see dolphins but we also got a little tour around and heard some great little tidbits of info on places around clearwater or in Clearwater. This was also one of the much more affordable things to do in the area. They also stopped at a small island to pick... More

We saw no dolphins on our trip. I would suggest asking the trip organizers and staff if they had seen trip organizers and staff if they had seen dolphins at anytime during the day if you go later on in the afternoon before you pay the 20 bucks or so to go on this trip. I did not pay to... More
