Join us aboard the Sea Life Safari for a 90-minute tip into our beautiful intracoastal waters. Look for dolphins, sea birds and other marine life as our staff narrates the scenic ride to a shell island. You'll be a part of the action as a certified Marine Biologist from the Clearwater Marine aquarium performs our net pull and passes around sea life before releasing them back to their natural habitat. A hands-on experience unlike any other cruise! Children and adults of all ages love this experience.

We went on the boat trip and even though it was really hot the breeze on the boat made it bare able. The intern that led the trip was knowledgable about the bay wildlife. The disappointment was the shell island, one tree island, most of shells were broken up. It was a good time. They check wild life in a... More

Loved this Safari!! It's as educational as it is fun.....and it didn't hurt that the Marine Life expert on board (Tyler) was quite a cutie 😉

My kids are 6 and 7 and loved going on this boat ride. We saw dolphins and the net pulled up lots of fun stuff. We loved that they passed around the starfish, puffer, catfish, urchin, etc. The island that we visited was very small, but the kids still had a blast and my son picked up a shell the... More

This sadly was a whole lot of nothing. The tour guide was knowledgeable and the staff were friendly but the island we went to was very sad. It was VERY small, full of crushed shells and had a lot of other boats. The only highlight of the trip was holding a sea urchin. Overall, it was not worth our time... More

Clearwater Aquarium Sea Life Safari We made reservations 11/2/2015, paying and receiving confirmation on-line. The reservations were to take the Sea Life Safari cruise on 11/5/2015 at 12:30 pm. We arrived extremely early and were waiting in our vehicle when my wife decided to ask a parking attendant where we needed to go to pick up our tickets. We went... More

This was really nothing but a boat ride. We boarded at the marina and it was about an hour long trip. The sea life was just a few fish and the sand bar that they called a shell island was pointless. Maybe it would have been better later in the day, but I would save your money, look for shells... More

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, we can't control the sea life as they are wild, which we do not at all try to hinder. Your feedback about the island has been passed along, but we hope that you will try the trip again in hopes that you will have better luck with the wildlife. More

I would highly recommend this trip for anyone with children. This 90 minute tour teaches children about the marine life in the Clearwater harbor area and is a fun sightseeing cruise. We have the marine biologist Brittany aboard who showed and told us all about the fish and sea creatures that inhabit the IntraCoastal waterway. First, we headed out to... More

We say lots of wildlife, they even stop on a little island for to get some shells, my kids loved watching for dolphins and other wild life. The boat ride was very nice and smooth, no problems with waves.

It was great and well worth the trip a little over 90 minutes and picked up additional passengers from marina and drug nets near coast guard station and shell island was good too. Saw Dolphins and birds and plenty of live animals and fishes and other sea creatures for close up views. Great for kids of all ages. Buy the... More
