With hundreds of things to do on Clearwater Beach, the main attraction is still pretty much its near-perfect beach (USA Today readers voted Clearwater Beach "Best Beach Town in Florida" in 2013). Beautiful white sand and clear, shallow water make this beach an ideal playground for families.

The crowd might have been there because of the sand castle festival and not sure if that's how it is over there on a regular basis. Still it was fun. The beach is beautiful, plenty of things to do.

We rented a cabana with 2 chairs for the day. Made a great place to come rest. The beach was clean and pretty. Very nice place to play in the water.

A very crowded beach especially near Pier 60. We hated seeing all of the trash on the beach and the jet ski fuel collecting in the water closest to the sand. We enjoyed Honeymoon Beach so much more!

Great beach and area but it a little crowded on summer weekends. Definitely a beautiful and well cared for area.

Are there still things to do here in the off-season? We aren't able to get vacation until September and we've never been to Clearwater so I was curious.
